Hi! Firstly, a huge big thank you for taking the time to visit my website. Let me introduce myself….
I’m Jackie Evans (or Jac, as most people know me). I am an artist/illustrator based in my home studio in Llanelli, South West Wales. I am supervised by a tiny bear with a big name – Theodore E Bear (Ted for short).
This website is not only a showcase for my illustration work. (I love to create colourful, quirky art and gifts to make people smile). It’s also a place where you can read about the adventures of Jac and Ted.
From visits to pretty places, adventures in nature, relaxing in the garden to dipping in the sea, and there is almost always coffee and cake involved somewhere too. Well hello there!
Welcome to Jac’s Little Welsh Studio – the creative space of, Jackie E Evans (Jac), illustrator on a mission to make the world a happier place, one creation at a time. The actual studio is also my happy place, a place where I can lock myself away to create the colourful and quirky creations that I really hope will help you to smile.
Every now and again, you might also see my teddy bear muse, Theodore E Bear – Ted for short. (He often sneaks into photographs, and is always the leader of trips to coffee shops).
My little studio is a treasure trove of art and gifts for almost every occasion, each created by my own fair hands (well, with paint, paintbrushes and pencil – but you know what I mean!).
Most items are truly one of a kind. That’s the beauty of hand drawn items – no two can ever be the same, no matter how hard I try. Not that I do try – I love that every one is different, a bit like each of us. Imagine how boring life would be if we were all the same!
