If you follow me on social media, or subscribe to my email list, you will notice that I often refer to my supporters as Sunbeams. I have recently been asked why that is – so, if you ever wondered… (Or even if you hadn’t
)
I started my business many years ago.
Initially, it wasnt a business at all, it was just something I did for me. as a way of calming my mind and helping me stay positive – drawing and painting has that mindful effect on me.
One day, after much encouragement from friends, I shared some examples of my work on social media. The comments I had were amazing – they made me smile.
Then, again, after much encouragement, or maybe more accurately – cajoling (had to google the spelling on that one…) I started to sell though social media.
The comments, likes and, of course, sales brought sunshine to my days. And it remains the same to this day. Each positive comment, each sale, each like, follow or share – is like standing in a little ray of sunshine.
You know that time when it’s been a grey dull day, and then the sun peeks out and you go stand in that one spot where it hits. That is the feeling you give me.
That is why each and every one of you is a sunbeam – you bring little rays of happiness to my day. Every day.
Now – imagine that. You bring me little spots of joy and sunshine.
And it’s not just me. Each time you say something kind, smile at someone, help someone with something – you spread that feeling.
Any I wanted to thank you all for that. When I call you my little sunbeams, it’s to show my thanks for each of you and the ability you have to spread joy and happiness.
So – my little army of sunbeams – that’s the story.
Wishing you all a fabulous day and please, please, do keep sharing the sunshine feeling!
Until next time,
Love from Jac and Ted xxx
