Bee in Springtime Ceramic Coaster

Meet Bertie the Bee – buzzing around, spreading smiles wherever he goes. He really brightens up a desk or a coffee table too!

This is a great gift idea for lovers of coffee or tea – but also nature lovers and gardeners. This lovely coaster brings a little of the outside in.

This item started life as a plain white ceramic coaster – approximately 10cm in diameter and about 0.5cm in depth.

It has been hand drawn and painted using my own mix of watercolour, acrylic paint and coloured pencil. Due to the and drawn nature of this item – no two will ever be exactly the same, so the one you receive may look ever so slightly different to those in the pictures, but that does mean that the item is unique – a beautiful keepsake gift (or treat for yourself).

The final design has been protected with a matt varnish (but please do refer to the care instructions for this item) and there are little “feet” on the reverse to help it grip a table top, whilst reducing the risk of scratching any surfaces.

PS – If you would like you own very special coaster, or a gift that’s a little bit different, I do take commissions for ceramic coasters. Please do contact me to discuss.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
These are decorative items and not suitable for heavy wear and tear.

Designed for Indoor use only.

Not suitable for microwave or dishwasher – do not submerge in water. To clean wipe with a slightly damp cloth

I also recommend that you keep them out of direct sunlight, to prevent colours fading.

HAND DRAWN PRODUCT

Please remember that this is a hand drawn and painted product. The design is sketched directly onto the coaster surface. Each coaster will be very slightly different, and so may not look exactly like those shown.
