Home Sweet Home – there really is no place like it.

And doesn’t this cute little cottage, with all its bright colours and blue skies look a lovely place to be? This hand drawn and painted wood slice would make a lovely gift for someone moving into a new home, or maybe just as a little decoration for yourself.

The image has been hand drawn directly onto the surface of the wooden decoration, before I added colour using a mix of watercolours, acrylic paint and coloured pencil. Once finished, I gave it a little coat of varnish, just to protect the design a little. This item is blank on the reverse
