You Are A Star – Small Wooden Heart Decor

You, my friend, are a STAR! You can achieve whatever you want, you just have to set those sights in the right direction.

This hand drawn and painted mini heart is a beautiful gift for someone just starting out at college or uni, perhaps someone starting a new job – or taking on a new and exciting business venture.

This item has the illustration of the stars on one side – and, hand written in the other are the words You Are a Star.

The item is finished off with the embroidery thread ready to attach to a gift, or hang around the home or officer perhaps.

As each heart is individually hand drawn and painted, the one(s) you receive may differ slightly from the one shown. I will also consider custom requests for this item

At just 3.5cm at its widest and longest points, this cute wooden heart can be used as a gift tag, or popped inside a card as an extra surprise – then kept as a keepsake decoration. Or – it can just be used as a hanging decoration to add some brightness to any room

MY PROCESS
Each mini heart hanging decoration starts as a blank "canvas". The first stage in the creation of this item is to sketch the design directly onto the surface.

Once the design is ready I outline it with a fine drawing pen, before adding colour using a mix of watercolour and acrylic paint – with just a little extra detail with coloured pencil.

The final design is protected with a protective spray and the final touch is a bright and colourful thread for it to hang up. (the colour of which may vary).

Care Instructions:

Although each heart is given a light varnish coating to protect it, you can keep the design looking fresh by keeping it out of direct sunlight. The item is designed for indoor use only.

Try not to get this item wet, and never submerge in water. If it needs a clean, simply give it a light dust.
